Wang Wei

Wang Wei is a professor at the Robotics Institute of Beihang University, working in robotics and mechatronic engineering, with research centred on mobile-robot navigation and bio-inspired robotics.

He has led more than 30 national and industry projects, including work under the National 863 Programme, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Research Council of Norway and the China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation.

He has published over 100 papers, 23 of them indexed in SCI, and received a best-paper award at an international conference. He holds 21 national invention patents, has published four translated works, and was named a Beijing Science and Technology Rising Star in 2007.
