Weng Kai

Weng Kai is an associate professor in the College of Computer Science at Zhejiang University. In 2018 he was selected for China's national scheme recognising outstanding university computing teachers.

He has won first and second prizes in the National Teaching Achievement awards, two first prizes for teaching achievement in Zhejiang Province, Zhejiang University's 2018 Yongping Award for outstanding teaching, and a 2019 teaching award shared across five leading eastern universities.

His C and Java programming courses on China University MOOC are among the platform's most subscribed and most active. Cumulative enrolment approaches four million, with a single run reaching 280,000 students, and two of his courses have been designated national high-quality open online courses.
